CountryMark is partnering with Indiana Wish for the third consecutive year to fund the wishes of two Indiana children battling life-threatening illnesses. Through the Fueling Wishes fundraiser, CountryMark is donating 15 cents for every gallon of fuel sold at the CountryMark AgBest Express station in Eaton, IN and the CountryMark Speedy Pete’s station in Monroe City, IN to fund the wishes of each child.
During the month of September, fuel purchases from any pump at the CountryMark stations in Eaton and Monroe City will contribute towards funding the wishes of a child within each community battling a life-threatening illness.
“CountryMark is grateful for this opportunity to support Indiana Wish and their mission of granting incredible wishes for these kids and their families,” said Matt Makinson, VP of Supply & Marketing at CountryMark. “We encourage everyone in the community to help us reach our goals by visiting these stations throughout September!”
In Eaton, the Fueling Wishes fundraiser will help fulfill the wish of Ruth, a child battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Ruth’s wish is to travel to Boston, MA for a tour of Revolutionary Wars sites. The Fueling Wishes fundraiser in Monroe City will fund the wish of Kiara, a four-year-old Hoosier child fighting B-Cell Leukemia.
Proceeds raised from both fundraisers will be donated to Indiana Wish, a nonprofit organization with a mission of granting wishes to Indiana children ages 3 – 18 diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
The communities of Eaton and Monroe City are invited to fill up at their local CountryMark stations from September 1st to September 30th to help fuel the wishes of Hoosier children Ruth and Kiara. Inside convenience stores at both locations, donation boxes will be available for those wanting to make additional donations.
